Another beautiful day out in the fjord, a little windy that caused a bit of rippling in the water but nothing to cause sea sickness. We had to venture further towards the mouth today, between Hrísey and Hjateyri where we found 4 humpback whales. Two solitary and a pair. On the afternoon tour we even got the great experience of seeing two humpback whales breaching. It was incredible. Not so many seabirds on the way out, the odd arctic tern and fulmar that kept us company on out hour sailing towards the mouth of Eyjafjörður. The humpback whale 'bad fluker' seen regularly since May was also keeping us entertained today. Great whale on a beautiful day.
