Eyjafjördur woke up to our whale watching call. It was partially cloudy and warm for most of the day. All set up and ready to rock we threw ourselves into the fjord on board of Hafsulan (one of our biggest and fastest boats in the fleet). It did not take long to come across the first whale on the morning tour. We saw at least 6 different humpback whales throughout the day! Some new ones amongst them and some we already know of: Tequila Blanca and Guillemot. They were most likely feeding in the deep of the fjord. The deep dives and our Fishfinder on board do not lie (the fishfinder is a high frequency sonar which only shows the fish underneath the boat). It was great to watch such an amazing behaviour! Lovely tours!
