Today was one of these days where we were really grateful that the mountains around Eyjafjördur provide us with shelter from the rough winds. We went out on one Classic and one RIB boat tour under dry skies. In the area around Hjalteyri we met up with three humpback whales which were busy feeding all individually. Jubilee, Cascade and a new whale which we named ‘Misu’ provided us with really great looks. Cascade even tail slapped twice directly in front of us! We returned happily to Eyjafjördur and enjoyed some warm drinks to warm up on the way back.
