We had such a lovely but cold boat ride at our 11 o'clock tour today. Both the sea condition and the weather were good, we had a cold wind blowing and few snow flurries coming down at us. We did not have to sail far out the fjord to see our first three humpback whales. They were close together and quite active. They came regularly to the surface to breath and to show us their fluke and dorsal fin. At one point they started tail flopping for us with a lot of splashes and it was beautiful. Before we knew they were four of them swimming around the boat and entertaining us for the rest of the tour. All together we saw five humpback whales in this tour so yet again a nice and great day in Eyjafjörður today.
