We sailed out the fjord today in a good weather, the sea condition were great and there for we had a smooth boat ride. We sailed quite far out the fjord and near the island Hrísey we encountered a humpback whale quite close to the boat. In a further distance we saw a group of three humpbacks and before we knew we had six humpback whales all around our boat. They were all very active, coming up regulary. D‘Artagnan, Lopapeysa, Pepper, Tough Pella and Giljagaur could be seen close enough so that we could identify them. Such a lovely encounter we had today with these six induvitual and there for yet another pleasant day in our fjord today among the whales.
