It was a cold day here in Eyjafjörður today but that did not bother us as we sailed out the fjord on our 11 o‘clock tour ready for our adventure. Everybody was dressed for the occasion ready to start looking for cetaceans. However we did sail quite far out the fjord and close to Hrísey we encountered two humpback whales swimming together. Those two we know and have named Tough Pella and Giljagaur, it was a joy being with them as they came to the surface regularly showing us their fluke and dorsal fin. A short distance away we saw three spouts coming out of the water so we sailed there to look at them and had a nice time with those individuals. Lopapeysa and Pepper were close enough so we could identify them. Another pleasant day here in our fjord.
