Golden autumn in Eyjafjördur continues with marvelous sailing conditions. We were going out under a blue sky with almost no wind, snow covered mountains and sun in our faces. The whales had moved further in and we found our first minke whale between Hauganes and Grenivik. Overall we encountered 2 minke whales, 6-8 humpback whales and 2 small pods of harbour porpoises. Our well known humpback whale Gilijagaur was especially good fun as it seemed to spent extra time at the sea surface, right next to our boat. What a fun day, full of cetaceans!
