What a spectacular day to be out on the water, although it was a little chilly the fjord was beautifully flat. We got to see many cetaceans today including minke whales, harbour porpoises and humpback whales. Our cataloged whales were out to greet us including Moonshine and Aretha Frankfin. A few new whales were also out to play. At the south of Hrisey is where the humpbacks were gathering, a group of four surfaced to our 11 o´clock and then another group of five surfaced to our 2 o´clock simply fantastic! Many more whales surfaced around us near and far, there were at least 20 humpbacks playing around the island. Another magical day in Ejyafjörður.
