A winter wonderland out in the fjord today. There was a beautiful blizzard across the water and mountains capped with a blanket of snow. We found a lovely minke who surfaced nicely, before we headed out to find more whales. “Whale Soup” is what our wonderful Captain Arnar called it when we came across not only one humpback whale but approximately 30 if not more! They were everywhere! Surfacing near and far, solo and in groups. Truly Epic! Worlds cannot describe how amazing this encounter was. None of us can wait to get back out there!
