A warm Christmas day in the Fjord was absolutely worth going out! This time with no wind and completely flat water we had perfect conditions for sailing and spotting animals. Surrounded by stunning scenery of winter landscape we’ve seen first blows in the distance not longer than 20 min after leaving the harbor and that was a Humback whale, very calmly surfacing the water. He was going for longer dives so we decided to leave him and search for more animals in the north. All of the sudden we had at least 5 individuals of Humpback whales spreaded around us. They were not easy to follow, going for rather longer dives most of the time but it was amazing to observe when a group of 3 whales was constantly swimming together. Can´t wait to get back out there!
