Today we had to change our departure time to fit in a tour for the Superbrake group who flew to Akureyri this morning. We sailed out at 2 o‘clock on a cold and windy day ready to find the whales. The sea condtition was good and we had a comfortable boat ride. We enjoyed the view Eyjafjörður has to offer all the way to Grenivík, there we encountered two humpback whales. We know them as Pepper and Giljagaur. It was a joy to spend time with them and see them in their natural habitat. They came up every 6 minutes to breath and in the meantime showing us how amazing creature they really are. Fantastic day yet again here in our fjord.
