Windy gusts on the fjord today but rainbow and humpback whales too! The humpback whale named Jackson spent the morning with us beside Ambassador. Showed some cool tail slapping action twice, to everybody's delight! I was too slow to capture it on film but it was a great encounter. This afternoon started with less wind than the morning but a curtain of rain was tailing us closely.. We managed to spot two humpback whales. We mistook the first whale for Jubilee but it was in fact Dorito! Dorito was first spotted in the fjord in mid-May. We hadn't seen it since until today! The second whale is still to be named because it does not yet appear in our records. How about Lord of the Kill or Hump Hefner? Any other suggestions?.. The wind eventually picked up again and we went through the curtain of rain... it had to be done! The wind quickly dried us off before we got back to port with hearts full of flukes and rainbows...
