It was a dark, windy morning although incredibly hoter than yesterday (the temperature has risen around 15º in less than 24 hours). Despite the wind, the Humpback whales where, like yesterday, fairly close to the Akureyri harbour. Among the 4 individuals we saw we identified two of our usuals: Jaffar and Moonshine, both of them with recognizable white flukes. After spending some time with these animals we headed out further north, but by the time we reached Hjalteri the wind was getting stronger and we had to return. Nonetheless, we got to spend some extra time with the Humpbacks we had encounter before. A perfect end for our travel!
