A cloudy day in Eyafjord today we started the day from sailing out from Akureyri a little bit further than Hjalteyri area to find our first Whale. The conditions were not the easiest to spot animals but we were able to enjoy the company of 2 Humpback Whales on all our tours today. Recently we’ve been frequently seeing Artetha Frankfin, Iskona and one more, most likely a juvenile whale that doesn’t has a name yet as he never shows up the fluke so far. We had few close encouters with Aretha and Iskona today both on the big boats and express boats and in the last tour today we were able to finally enjoy some sun. The Fjord looked beautiful, great day to be out there!
