Today is officially the first day of winter in Iceland. And after five days of cold, strong winds and snow blizzards, today we have made it out again. We were so eager to go out again and try to see our gentle whales. The morning trip has not been easy, since we have had to sail very far north in order to find a very nice Minke whale. It was freezing but definitely worth it. On the way back a surprise was awaiting us: our beloved Humpback whale Iskona. As usual, this whale delighted us with a very good sighting, even when it was short since we were out of time. With no time between tours, we headed out again and it did not take us a long time to find Iskona again. At the end of the trip we could even see another Minke whale. We were really missing our whales!
Departures today: Classic 9h and 13h
