November seems to be an excellent month for humpback whales close to Akureyri. We went on two tours today and saw a total of five humpback whales from far and close. The weather was considerably pleasant with only a bit of snow here and there and calm seas, but temperatures had dropped so that everyone took advantage of the hot drinks and overalls onboard. We saw four familiar flukes and one new one. Name suggestions are welcome any time via email if you have an idea. It looks like we will be going out tomorrow, so come and join if you want to enjoy the Eyjafjord humpbacks.
Today’s departures: CLASSIC 11:00, 13:30
