A rainy day in Eyjafjörður today, it was a lot warmer today and therefore, instead of the normal snowfall we were given rain. The wind was low and the sea conditions ideal for whale watching. Luckily the rain did not dampen our spirits as we sailed out onto the fjord. We search the harbour area thoroughly as this is where we have found the whales the last few days. However, this search yielded little expect for bird life. Therefore, we headed out and searched the fjord, some other whale watching boats were out on the fjord but no matter how hard we tried unfortunately we couldn´t find any whales. Some little porpoises did pop up for a while as did lots of birds. Complimentary tickets were given out to our guests so they can join us for another tour and hopefully see our wonderful whales. Fingers crossed tomorrow will bring more luck.
