The last day of the year greeted us with rainy and windy morning. There was a beautiful ‘test’ fireworks show in the harbour just before our tour, so we must admit that having those dark mornings here has its highlights! We started the tour having rather difficult conditions to spot the animals. It was dark and cloudy and sea was a bit rough, it took us a longer way to spot the wildlife but eventually on our way back we found 2 Humpback Whales. It was Aretha Frankfin and a new winter whale for whom we don’t have a name yet so if you have any good ideas on how to name a whale we ‘re open for suggestions! and if your idea will not stick with this one, we might use is for another newbie. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! Our New Years wish is of course to see many many more new whales in 2020!
