A winter wonderland enfolded us on the fjord today, we left a chilly Akureyri, with clear streets and frost on the air and returned to a snow covered city, landscape and sky. On the tour the fjord was a little bit more bumpy than expected and we experienced a bit of swell and a blizzard. We tried our very hardest to locate the whales however, it proved not enough. Passengers were offered complimentary tickets so they can try again to see the wonderful whales. However, they were all very happy to experience the waves and the winter wonderland that is the Icelandic winter.
