Thursday, 29 August

Today we started the trip under the rain and with low temperatures. Even when it looks like the summer is getting to the end, we still have plenty of whales to show to our passengers. And so we did. After a while sailing north we encountered a Humpback whale close to Hauganes. We had a few sightings of it but we decided to leave it so there were many boats in the area. Luckily, our Rib boat from our Express tour founded two whales quite close to Akureyri, so we decided to stop there on our way back. It was the perfect way to finish our whale watching trip today.

Departures today: Classic at 9h, 13h and 17h; Express at 10h, 12h and 14h
