Today really gave our passengers the experience of an Icelandic roller coaster ride, It was wild, wet at times and of course windy. However, our passengers seemed to be thrilled to ride the waves like a viking and were happily jumping up and down at the bow of the boat. Our morning express tour was a bit of a challenge and we traveled almost the whole length of the fjord in some rather splashy surf. But unfortunately, we didn´t manage to spot any cetaceans on this tour, instead we admired the mass of bird life present in the fjord. Our classic adventure stormed out in our powerful flag ship Holmasol and were much luckier in sightings. Not only did we managed to see some beautiful little harbour porpoises but a wonderful humpback whale was spotted North of Hrisey island. Which surfaced many times allowing us to see its beautiful streamlined body!
Tours today: Express: 10:00 & Classic: 13:00
