Today we’ve been completely soaked,! All three tours were just begging for better weather as we had a fantastic show and plenty of Humpback Whales. We went out in the morning in the pouring rain from Akureyri on the classic and rib boats together. We went all the way to north of Hrisey to find 5-7 Humpback Whales feeding in the same area all around us and a lot more blows in the distance in the north. On our way out we also had few nice encounters with Harbour porpoises that were jumping quite a lot today and surprisingly didn’t stay shy as they usually are. In the afternoon tour we found again same whales but much more spreaded this time, so we focused on 3 of them and had few very nice encounters.
