A perfect day to sail the fjord, the sun was shining there was very little wind and it was beautifully warm. Our morning express tour was a super speedy delight we first saw some cute little harbour porpoises, followed by a tiny baby minke whale, which was super cute! Unfortunately, it went for a long dive and didn´t resurface so we headed further out and found not one but three humpback whales. Who surfaced just wonderfully and they all raised their flukes very high into the air while going for dives. On the way back to Akureyri we managed to spot yet another two humpback whales. On our classic adventure the wind picked up slightly but we still managed to find a wonderful humpback whale who delighted us throughout the tour with its beautiful surfacings. Yet another wonderful day out on the fjord.
