Overcast and a bit of wind marked this last Thursday of September. Still, we were grateful for the considerably calmer conditions compared to the past few days. On both tours we encountered one humpback whale. We knew the whale in the morning from the previous day, but the afternoon whale turned out to be a new individual. Both whales reliably showed their flukes and came very close to the boat to the delight of everyone. On all of our tours, our guests have the chance to leave name suggestions for the whales that have not been named yet in our photo-ID catalog. Today we got a great suggestion for our Harry Potter collection ‘Ron Whalesly’ and we love it. If you have any good idea on how to name a humpback whale, please send us an email.
