What a day! Strong winds were blowing all over Iceland making it difficult to travel and especially difficult for sailing, majority of the country was under a weather alert - LUCKILY we are a green spot on the map! The fjord is surrounded by the mountains that protect us well - we went out on two tours today and it was so worth it as we found same 3 Humpback whales as on last friday! The weather was great, it was warm and sunny - only the waves were making the tour a bit challenging as it was harder to spot animals surfacing but we had plenty of great encounters today and the light was just stunning.
