Today we had very challenging weather conditions. Snow and fog and there for the viability was not good. We sailed all the way to Hrísey where we encountered a humpback whale. The humpback whale was making lots of turns and moving very unusual. Diving for a long period of time. The crew onboard of Konsúll was questioning this behavior because it is very unusual. We understood it clearly when a big pod of Killer whale was seen coming up right next to what we thought was a humpback whale coming up. Killer whale are unusual to be seen in our fjord and it was such a fantastic group. Swimming fast and coming up to the surface close to us on so many occasions.

Wild life is amazing and today just perfect in every way.
