We have a saying in Iceland “if you don’t like the weather, just wait 5 minutes” it’s meant in a good way, but today the sea conditions surprised us in the opposite way. We went out on time on almost flat water with no wind and headed towards north, cutting through waves that were bigger the further we went. We almost reached Hauganes when we decided to turn back. We’ve seen lots of bird life and some harbour porpoises but didn’t make it to spot any whales so the tour was called as complimentary and we gave out vouchers for repeating the experience for free to all our passengers.
