Windy day in the fjord! This morning we went out on express tour on the rib boat and struggled with high and choppy waves. Even that it was sunny we weren’t able to spot any whales. We went out staying in touch with two other boats in the fjord and only found a pod of harbour porpoises close by the coastline of Gaseyri. We were confident that the animals are in the fjord so we went out in the afternoon and had an amazing show from a very relaxed Humpback whale! The whale was just floating at the surface coming very close to us and we got to enjoy his company through out the whole tour!
