What an exciting day out on the fjord today! Not only did we get the beautiful sun with us all day but we managed to spot not one but four different species of cetaceans! Our our morning tours we encountered some wonderfully rare bottle nosed whales who surfaced nicely before coming up again 20 minutes later, talking about good lung capacity! We managed to see them another 2 more times which was really amazing and also spotted some little harbour porpoises on the way. Later on a beautiful minke whale was seen who came up just wonderfully many times. Our afternoon tours had to go quite a bit further out but were rewarded with a humpback whale, which surfaced in the fog covering the fjord but still stood out quite well. Never a boring day out in Eyjafjörður!
