Wonderful day out on the fjord today! Our morning was filled with some wonderful cetaceans first we encountered a lovely minke whale which surfaced a few times before going for a longer dive. We headed further out and found a beautiful humpback whale, which is one we know called Sparky (first seen in 2019), while we were waiting for Sparky to resurface some lovely white-beaked dolphins popped up and even jumped around a bit for us which was fun. We got to see Sparky a lot more times too! Sparky also made an appearance in our 13:00 tour, along with more white-beaked dolphins and even some pilot whales which surfaced just wonderfully all around the boat! Our 17:00 was rather unlucky and no larger cetaceans were seen on this tour so complimentary tickets were given to passengers. Our 2030 tour fared much better and heading much further out than we usually go we found not one but three humpback whales. Two of which we admired from a distance while one we got to enjoy rather close and at one point VERY close and he suddenly popped up right next to the boat startling all our excited passengers! Yet another magical day!
