New whale in the fjord!! What a beautiful surprise this morning to find a new individual exploring the area! This morning we went out with almost full boat heading towards north in incredibly calm sea conditions. It took us a longer while to sail and we were slowly exploring the fjord enjoying the sun and lots of bird life around us. Once we reached Hrisey area we spotted few synchronized dorsals coming out of the water and it was a pod of White-beaked dolphins! They were very curious and coming towards the boat so we had many opportunities to observe them. Further out we found a very relaxed Humpback whale that we’ve seen for the first time this season! On all later tours we aimed for the same direction and it seems that the whale was clearly enjoying the area as we were able to find him on every tour. Beautiful day to be out there.
