Amazing day to say the least. In all classic tours we sailed from the harbor of Dalvík. In the morning tour we spotted at least 8 Humpback whales that were all around the boat giving us a great time. Raising the fluke high in the air before going on a deeper dive. In all afternoon tours we had one humpback whale who was so active on the surface. Tail slapping and breaching fully out of the water at least 150 times. Amazing sightseeing and very unusual behavior. The Humpback whale was rolling around close to us showing us it’s belly and flippers. This whale was very curious and came often very close to the boat, at one point the passengers on the deck got splash all over them from the tail slap. Around this whale were other humpback whale jumping in the distance.
