Another beautiful day in the fjord! Today we sailed out in sunny weather and calm sea - dream whale watching conditions! First tour we did starting form Dalvik but all later tours started and ended in Akureyri as whales are clearly heading south again. On the morning tour we spent great quality time in the company of 2 Humpback whales going on dives together and exploring the fjord in it’s northern part. The express tour was also lucky to spot some white-beaked dolphins but we didn’t pass them on the classic tours. In both afernoon tours we found another individual of a very relaxed Humpback whale close by Hauganes and at 17:00 tour he even breached! Incredible day out there.
