Good afternoon, today we had rainy, but overall still good conditions to sail out.
On our tour, we encountered Harbor Porpoises several times and spotted our first Humpback Whale blows in the area of the green buoy! There, we encountered a total of three different Humpback Whales, which kept resurfacing multiple times. One of these individuals was our beloved Ískona. We were able to see several of these Humpback Whales up close as they surfaced for a breath right next to our boat!
As we were entering the harbor area of Akureyri, we also spotted a Minke Whale that surfaced several times! What a great surprise on the way back and what a fantastic way to end our tour!
