Looong tour today, but so worth it!!! Today we sailed out on time from Akureyri having great weather. Even though it was cold almost everyone went outside having high hopes and looking for wildlife. It took us long today to find whales and we sailed all the way beyond Hrisey Island - there it was! on our way back right in front of us a beautiful Humpback whale went for a dive. We waited few minutes for him to come back and decided to extend the tour as he was so relaxed and coming up very close to us. It was Inkblot! our star winter whale and he seemed very curious of us. The last encounter was just mesmerizing as the whale came up to the surface just 20m away from us and went for a dive so close we all had goosebumps!
