We used the time between two winter storms wisely today and went out whale watching of course! It was a bit windy but nothing compared to yesterday or what is predicted for this evening. Luckily we only had to search for an hour or so before we saw our first cetaceans. A big pod of harbor porpoises surprised and entertained us briefly on the way out. They did not stay around long, still, we loved seeing them so active and in large numbers. Just a few minutes after that we spotted a humpback whale blow. When we got closer, we were delighted to see Inkblot and observed it fluking and diving all around us. We certainly had a fun tour! Due to the severity of the storm predicted, it is unlikely that we will go out tomorrow. Stay safe and check our blog for updates.
