Wednesday, middle of the week and rumor had it that whales were sighted in the fjord! Thus, we went out quickly and were happy to see that yesterday’s swells had calmed down significantly. Sailing in the search for whales requires concentraction and dedication from our passengers and crew alike which we had a plenty on today’s trip. Some people stood out there for the whole duration, thus the effort was there. However, whales did not show and the effort was not rewarded on this occasion. This is how it can go on wildlife tours but it is also why you go out again and again as every day is different.
