Extreme sailing today! 5 meters waves at the entrance of the fjord, freezing temperatures and wind blowing snow and ice right into our faces making it feel like tiny needles sprouting through the skin. It was very cold and windy out there. We sailed out hopefull as in the past 3 days we’ve been getting phonecalls of a gathering of Orcas in the fjord but we weren’t able to see them today. The visibility was very limited with heavy snowing and the rough seas did not help in spotting animals. We gave out complimentary tickets to everyone and decided to cancel tomorrow’s tour as the forecast looks even worse. Hopefully we’ll get back there soon!
