The beginning of March certainly has not been the easiest with stormy seas, difficult sighting conditions and the world as we know it being turned upside down. Nevertheless, sailing out in the beauty of Eyjafjörður has this great ability to center you and remind you to appreciate the little, good things in life. Thus, we were happy to spend around three hours in the fjord even though we did not encounter any cetaceans this time. Over the years, we got to experience the Eyjafjord humpbacks as these gentle, peaceful creatures that can live together but also let live and give each other space. Hopefully one day humanity can learn from the gentle giants and live together in peace!
