Hello all! It feels a bit surreal that only yesterday we were forced to cancel all our scheduled tours because of intense stormy weather. Today the sun rose high and strong, shinning its full 14 degrees of warmth on us throughout the entire day! There was a sweet breeze in the air and we had perfect sailing and spotting conditions. There were humpback whales everywhere, a sea of them, stretching between Hjalteyri and Hrísey. We felt thankful for yesterday’s northern winds because they seem to have brought a bunch of whales into Eyjafjörður, at least six different ones! What a blissful sunny day.
