As its the end of my season I was hoping to see every one of our animals one last time before leaving Akureyri today. I was very pleased in sighting a Minke Whale at 0900 am this morning. Having said goodbye to our smallest rorqual one of the least researched cetaceans in the world. I was overjoyed to hear the RHIB at 10.00 had seen a Humpback heading south and Ambassador, seeing the same Humpback, also saw a pod of jumping White beaked dolphins. A bright and sunny afternoon gave me my much needed goodbye to our humpies with RHIB and Classic watching a curious Humpback coming within touching distance of the boats. I hope the season continues so brightly for all the crew who are staying till migration.
