Absolutely fantastic tour today! 4 Humpback whales approached us and curiously came up from every side of the boat. Today it took us a long while to find whales, we sailed out on a cloudy day with a little bit of wind from the south. We had a call about a whale sighting before Hauganes so we stopped in that area but didn’t spot anything and continued to aim north. We did a circle around Hrisey Island and on our way back 3 blows appeared right in front of us! We rushed to get closer and it was actually 4, not 3 whales! Arheta Frankfin, Inkblot, Van Whalen, and one lazy Fluker kept us company for the rest of the tour.
