Back on the road, or the water, after a heavy storm. Todays weather still dominated by strong wind and small leftover swell from the previous wind. Rain and snow all day.

We encountered about 5 Humpback whales, especially on our afternoon classic tour between Hjalteyri and Hauganes. Some of them paired up and broke up again, others spent the time by themselves. The encounters were good, some from far away, some from 10m away. Lots of flukes and peaceful whales.

One thing to mention, the whales have been spending very little time at the surface today. Very infrequent diving times as well.
