Todays conditions couldn’t have been better. it was cloudy but absolutely no wind. The sea was a mirror reflecting a bit of orange sunlight coming over the mountains.
We started going out, get around the corner and already saw something popping up. I thought it might have just been some ice, but then we saw it again. A “teenager” Humpback Whale. We saw him a few more times but then checked out the area and found two more. And at the end we stayed with The Whale “pretty Average”, and he gave us a more than average show. Our guests on the boat also made this trip absolutely lovely. Whale watching is not only about seeing whales, it is nice to engage with everyone and have a chat while the whale goes for a deep dive.
So in total we saw 3 Humpback Whales and even stopped to check out some Harbour Porpoises, just outside from the harbour.
