Our Christmas miracle continued today, as we sailed out in great and calm conditions and spotted a Humpback Whale just as we left the harbor of Akureyri! We got to have beautiful encounters with this Humpback, as it calmly resurfaced numerous times.
We sailed out further after a while, as always on the lookout of cetaceans in Eyjafjörður. We got to see the gorgeous scenery of our fjord and eventually spotted the same Humpback Whale again on our way back, just outside the fishing harbor of Akureyri. It kept surfacing frequently, even close to us. Such a beautiful tour!
