Good afternoon, we sailed out today in overall good weather conditions with hardly any wind. During our tour, we had the full range from sunshine to big snowflakes falling down on us.
We sailed out on the western side of the fjord and and back towards Akureyri on the eastern side. While we scanned the whole area and briefly saw a seal as well as different birds, such as Northern Fulmars, we sadly did not encounter any cetaceans.
Our passengers are welcome to join us again in the future with the complimentary tickets, that we of course offered to everyone! This is wildlife, which we cannot control, but we are hoping to see our passengers again and to be able to watch some whales with them next time!
