Good afternoon, we had a cold and snowy day here in Eyjafjörður with little wind and overall good sailing conditions!
Today, we encountered one Humpback Whale just north of Hjalteyri. We first spotted the blow and were able to approach the area. The Humpback Whale resurfaced many times close to our boat. Towards the end of our tour, we even got to see this whale feeding! It was quite special and of course super beautiful to see. One other highlight of our tour today was when the Humpback Whale came up for a breath right in front of our boat! It was super close, we got to hear the breathing and saw this beautiful animal up close! Wow! What an amazing tour with plenty of great encounters with this Humpback Whale!
