Hello everybody! What a wonderful day in our fjord! We sailed out in cold, but great sailing conditions with hardly any wind. In the afternoon, the sun came out and we had great weather!
On our morning tour, we encountered one Humpback Whale south of Hjalteyri. It came up to breathe a number of times all around our boat and we were able to have a good look at it. In the afternoon, we spotted a different Humpback Whale north of Hjalteyri! So we saw a total of two Humpback Whales during our tours today! We had super nice encounters with both of them and were able to watch these gentle giants, several times even from close up! Fantastic!
