Good afternoon! Today, we sailed out in snowy, cold conditions, but the weather improved throughout the day and we even had sunshine in the afternoon!
During the morning tour, we spotted Harbour Porpoises in different locations in our fjord as we sailed out and encountered a Minke Whale by Hjalteyri! We had great encounters with them and the Minke Whale swam several circles around our boat.
On the way back, we suddenly encountered two Humpback Whales at the same time! They were extremely close to our boat, one of them surfaced on our left side, dove underneath our RIB boat and resurfaced on our right side, going for a deep dive!
We had incredible encounters today!
On our afternoon tours, we encountered both Humpback Whales again with plenty of great and very up-close encounters! It for example came up to breathe right next to our Classic boat! What a fantastic day!
