Hello everyone! We had a beautiful day with good weather conditions in our fjord!
During our tours today, we encountered a Minke Whale south of Svalbarðseyri, so only minutes after leaving our harbour!
We also spotted two different Humpback Whales by Hjalteyri. In the morning, they were in the same area, but quite far apart and in the afternoon, we saw them swimming very close to eachother!
Additionally, we saw Harbour Porpoises as well as a lot of different birds during our tours today.
We had fantastic and up close encounters with the cetaceans, some of them just came up for a breath in front of our boat! So we got to see them very well!
We cannot wait to sail out again tomorrow to encounter the wildlife here in Eyjafjörður!
